Living in Power Ranch

What kind of community do you imagine when you think of the perfect place to raise a family? What are the must-haves and the non-negotiables in the power ranch homes for sale? When designing Power Ranch, the wants and needs of your family was the top priority. This reflects in the atmosphere and amenities of the community, which invites you in with rows of trees that guide your path around this slice of heaven.

What to do, what to do...

It’s a Saturday morning and your whole family has a free day. The sun is shining (but it’s not 100+ degrees out) and you’re itching to get outside. What’s the first thing you think of when you want to have a good time with your family? If you live in Power Ranch real estate, you are never at a loss of things to do. From swimming to bocce ball, to fishing, entertainment is within reach for every family member. Take a look at these amenities:

The Barn & Trailside Community Park:

As you can see, each member of your family will always have something to do in this fun-loving community - Power Ranch Real Estate. Plus, how fun would it be to take a walk on the pier and listen to the chattering ducks while watching the sunset over the water?! Something you’ll notice when you wander around Power Ranch Real Estate is all the people! So many people are out walking their dogs, biking, jogging, swimming, fishing, and so much more. This community is perfect for those wanting to build strong friendships with their neighbors.

We interviewed a few past clients who have bought and still live in Power Ranch Real Estate to learn more about what it’s like to live there. After all, they are the ones that experience the community first hand. When asked why they moved there and why they still live there, they said, “We enjoy all of the amenities it has to offer: the pools, tennis court, parks, lakes, and how safe we feel living here”. When you’re raising a family, safety is the number one priority. Being confident in the security of your neighborhood is important, but the deal is sweetened when you can enjoy the perks of the community as well! Another unique feature that our interviewees brought up was Power Ranch’s weekly Farmers Markets on Wednesday. How cool is that?! You’re not going to find that at many other communities.

Over 100 years of History - Power Ranch Real Estate

Would you believe that the Power Ranch real estate has been around for more than 100 years? This community has a rich history reaching back to 1892, when James Oliver Power settled in Lehi, a community new present-day Gilbert. In the early 1900’s, James and his wife, Sarah, began their 2,000-acre Power Ranch homestead living in a tiny frame bungalow. They raised their 13 kids in their five-room adobe home (can you imagine the smell?). During this time, cotton was THE industry to be in. According to the community’s website, “James Power was known throughout the area as one of the best producers of pima cotton, named after Pima County, Arizona. When the Depression hit in 1929, the banks closed and everyone was broke. Power Ranches couldn’t sell its cotton, so it diversified into vegetables, all kinds, and hired a Japanese supervisor and Filipino crew from California. Nevertheless, the ranch operation survived and was prospering again by 1934”. Learn more about Power Ranch’s fascinating beginnings and how it’s stood the test of time by checking out the community page. Pretty neat if you’re a history junkie!
